AMS is fully accredited by two British boards and one American organization, and is officially recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of education, and has numerous affiliations that lend its credibility.
AMS accreditations and affiliations ensure that AMS is meeting standards set for international schools and that the school is continuously evaluating and improving its programs and teaching.They are also set to meet the school’s vision, mission and values.
Arab Model Schools has a registered certificate for a limited company issued from the Companies Control Department under the Companies Law N 22 for the year 1997 in the companies’ records- Limited responsibility under the number 1243 on 29/9/1983. Upon this certificate Arab Model Schools abide by the rules and regulations presented by the Ministry of Trade and Commerce in the Hashemite Kingdom Of Jordan. Through the administrative chain, well documented and announced rules and regulations are implemented to ensure the well being of the students and the implementation of high educational standards. The school also renews its KG license on yearly basis which was issued in accordance with article (39) from the Ministry of Education Law in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan N (3) for the year 1994 derived from Law number (16) for the year 1964. The School also renews its license for both the National and International sections on yearly basis in accordance to article (31) from the Ministry of Education law N (3) for the year 1994 and all the rules and regulations are derived from the Ministry Of Education Law for the year 1964 for Grades (1-12). Upon the renewal of all the mentioned licenses Arab Model Schools abide by all the rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Arab Model Schools is a highly regarded educational institution that has received accreditation from the British Council for the Cambridge and Edexcel boards. In 2008, the school was granted approval to teach the British IGCSE program, which is implemented from Kindergarten to Grade 8. For Grades 9 and 10, students at Arab Model Schools study Cambridge IGCSE subjects, and for Grades 11 and 12, the school follows a curriculum provided by Edexcel. In addition to offering a comprehensive and rigorous academic program, Arab Model Schools also conducts its own practical and oral external exams on-site, having met all the necessary requirements from both the Cambridge and Edexcel boards. This commitment to excellence has helped the school to establish a strong reputation for academic achievement and a supportive learning environment.
Arab Model Schools is proud to offer the American program to its students, having received approval from American International, an organization that oversees and grants accreditations for schools outside the United States. In 2019, Arab Model Schools received approval from American International to begin implementing the American program, and we are committed to providing our students with a high-quality education that meets the standards set by this esteemed organization. Level Up Village Education, mission is to globalize the classroom and facilitate seamless collaboration between students from around the world via pioneering Global Steam. A partnership took place between AMS and LUV where AMS students collaborated with students from different parts of the world on STEAM based projects. This was applied to KG students up to grade eight (International Program).
Since one of AMS values is loyalty, cooperation between the school and Tkiyet Um Ali has been conducted for many years. This aims to engage the students and train them to show commitment and serve their country and society. AMS students volunteer at Tkiyet Um Ali in different areas and fields, including serving food through “Passer By Program’ or packaging and distributing parcels for families in need.
Serving the local community and showing empathy is of great importance at Arab Model Schools. Therefore, AMS students cooperate with the King Hussein Cancer Centre through fundraising activities, back to school program and the wishlist program on an annual basis.
